Calendar of Events April 2007
Sunday April 1 - Ed
has reserved 4 lanes at Strikes Bowling in Rocklin CA from
12 noon 'til 3pm. Cost is $5 to bowl two games and includes
the cost of shoes if needed (they have plenty of loaner
balls). Each lane will hold 5 bowlers. RSVP to me by
Monday March 26. If we have more than 20 members
interested I should be able to add some lanes. If not I can subtact lanes as well. This is a family event as they have
a nice arcade, food, drink (including adult libations if you
are so inclined), etc. Check them out at
http://www.strikesbowling.com/home-old.htm They
have a very nice parking lot, so if you want to drive your
Camaro it's cool, but this is not a bring your Camaro day as
we will be inside and the cars will be out of view.
Tuesday April 3 - is the next club meeting at Maita Chevrolet in Elk Grove. Sunday April 15 - Update on the Spring Jamboree. CG Secretary Terry White spoke to the organizers of the show and got permission for the club to enter any year Camaro - no restriction. Although Camaros '76 and newer are not eligible for class judging, but will be eligible for one of the Merchant Awards.
So, the plan is to meet at the Starbucks on
the SW corner of Sunrise BL & White Rock Rd
in Rancho Cordova and head over to the show
as a group. Download one of the reg forms
and pre-reg if you can. Day of the show
entry is OK, too.
Joe Mitchell (former CG member) of Capital City Cruisers, is sponsoring a car show in Rancho Cordova. Entry cost is $25 and the money goes to benefit local kids. Here is the website to pre-enter (recommended as they had about 200 cars last year). Ed plans on attending this one and would like to meet with other CGer's and go as a group. http://capitolcitycruisers.org
