The
morning of the show we all met at Robert Lodewyk's
shop in west Sac. We caravanned over to the show
from there where the CHP took us right in and got us
parked. The CHP academy is a great setting for this
event. Plenty of grass and trees. There was a
helicopter lifting off every couple hours which
always produced plenty of oohs and awes from the
kids both young and old.
The weather was great and there was lots
of beautiful cars to see. The CHP once again put on
their high-speed demo on their training course. This
year however, they expanded on this great event by
giving rides to those lucky enough to be chosen.
