We started the
morning at the Chevron station on Calvine. At 8:30 am 10 Camaros
pulled out of the gas station and made the short trip over to
Cosumnes River College, the site of this year's event. The folks
putting on the show did a nice job of spreading the cars out. We
were triple spaced apart. The only drawback was the dry
condition of the ground. Luckily, it was not a windy day or we
would have had a major dust problem. The weather was warm but
not unbearable. The tents provided by Camaro Generations and
Arron and Juanita Lindgren were put to good use not to mention
the portable mister they brought along. Brett Radanoff showed up
about mid-morning with his 67 Z and that completed the cast of
CG members who brought their cars.
