The morning of April 27th and our 2nd annual cruise
through the foothills on Hwy 49 was finally upon us.
Unfortunately, our recent nice mid 70's spring
weather had been replaced with much cooler weather
(high of 61) and ominous clouds were all around.
Needless to say, I didn't expect to see a very large
turn out. Boy was I wrong! We arrived at the
rendezvous point at 10am to see quite a few members
already there.
Members taking part in the
cruise were:
- Dennis Aros and family in
there yellow 69
- Ed and Valerie Ernst with
niece Katie in their gold 67 RS SS Convertible
- John and Mara Firestone and
family in our 69 pace car
- David and Patricia Hansen in
their newly acquired black 70 Z28
- John and Tiffany Knipp and
Family in their 68 RS
- TJ Lamair driving Steve
Reinero's 69 pace car
- Aaron and Juanita Lindgren
in there red 68 SS
- Ben and Amy Lott in their
2002 anniversary SS
- Terry McDonald couldn't make
the cruise but he and Cindy made a quick pit
stop in Penryn in their big block powered 68 to
say "hi"
- Ray in his blue 68
- Terry Reinero in her 68 BB
convertible (kudos to you for bring such a clean
car out on a day that threatened to rain all
day)
- Steve Reinero in his 67 BB
convertible
- Jim and Corinne Schrader in
their white 87 IROC
- Jack Seidner in his 70 gold
car
- Chip and Sheri Strnad in
their orange/white striped convertible
- Mike and Karen Youngblood in
their... nevermind! Ask him at the next meeting
if you really want to know :-)

CG President John Knipp gives a
pre-cruise speech before we hit the highway. |

Check out the guy in the white shirt and cap. He was
just passing by and called someone on his cell phone and
told them about every single Camaro in that parking lot.
I hope the person he was talking to liked Camaros!! |

....And We're off |
 "Put the top
down, put the top down"... OK, you asked for it!! (they
actually really enjoyed themselves) |

First bathroom break! |
 The
convertibles tempted fate by retracting their tops.
Luckily, we all managed to stay dry! |
 |
Camaros as far as the eye could
see....

came out, braved the weather and helped make this such a
fun event! |
